Sooryavanshi is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Rohit Shetty and written by Yunus Sajawal. Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Apoorva Mehta and Rohit Shetty.
Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi has been postponed thanks to Coronavirus outbreak. the manufacturers recently released a politician statement saying that the film will hit the theatres when the time is true .
The statement read, "Sooryavanshi is an experience that we've created for you with over a year of dedication and diligence , and therefore the response we received for its trailer was nothing but electrifying and made it clear that this film truly belongs to its audience... we've been as excited as you're to present the film to you and your family, but thanks to the recent outburst of the COVID - 19 (Coronavirus), we, the manufacturers , have decided to postpone the discharge of your film Sooryavanshi, keeping in mind the health and safety of our beloved audience... and thus , Sooryavanshi are going to be back for you only when the time is true ... After all, safety comes first... Until then, keep the thrill alive, take excellent care of yourself and stay strong... We shall pull through this...

Jackie Shroff joins Akshay Kumar in ‘Sooryavanshi’
Veteran actor Jackie Shroff on Saturday joined the cast of Rohit Shetty’s cop-drama Sooryavanshi. The 63-year-old actor are going to be seen in an “interesting role” within the much-awaited film, starring Akshay Kumar because the titular hero.
“He knows his job and that i loved working with him. it's an experience i will be able to always remember . I can’t disclose my character but its a stimulating role,” Jackie said during a statement.
Actor Katrina Kaif is paired opposite Akshay within the movie, which also feature special appearances by Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham and Ranveer Singh as Sangram Bhalerao from the director’s cop universe.
